Police identified the woman as Vajramani, who also went by the aliases Shweta Reddy and Keerthi while courting her victims. Originally from East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh, she had been evading capture since 2025, when she disappeared after marrying a man named Sudheer Reddy from Anantapur, taking roughly 380,000 rupees in dowry with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How the scheme unraveled<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n According to police, the 2025 case followed a now-familiar pattern: just three days after the wedding, Vajramani claimed to be feeling unwell and insisted on visiting her parents. Her husband accompanied her to the railway station, but partway through the journey \u2014 near the town of Nandyal \u2014 she got off and slipped into the crowd, never to be seen by him again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When Sudheer Reddy realized his new wife had vanished, he searched the station but found no trace of her.
